Paul and Barnabas confront other Jewish believers who insist the Gentiles become like the Jews to be part of the church. They travel to Jerusalem and meet with the leaders there to deal with how best to incorporate Gentiles into the faith. The "Jerusalem Council", as it became known, was a landmark in the history of the Church.

Paul and Barnabas continue their travels .. considered the first of Paul's missionary journeys. They head into what is now central Turkey and meet opposition and some confusion. So what else is new?! Well, we'll take a look!
Acts 13:13–52
Paul and Barnabas travel to Pisidian Antioch, where they go to the Synagogue. The Jewish leaders invite Paul to speak a "word of exhortation." And speak he did! This Sunday we'll look at Paul's lengthy historical reply to the synagogue leaders.

The church in Antioch became a sending church ... picking those to send out was directed by the Holy Spirit. We'll look at this more in detail this week.
