This year, we are reading through the book Treasuring Christ When Your Hands are Full by Gloria Furman. Our hope is that each mom who joins us experiences a sweet time of fellowship and is encouraged and equipped to go and better love and serve their families unto the glory of God. We meet from 9:30-11am and childcare is provided.

Our hope is to foster relationships, explore the possibility of starting one or two life groups, and seek the Lord’s guidance on whether He might be leading toward a future church plant in this community.

We will be holding ONE church service on Sunday, November 9th at 10 am on the fields at Mosley Academy.
This will be a Baptism Sunday! We hope you will join us for this sweet time of celebrating new life in Christ! If you or a family member is interested in getting baptized, please fill out this form, and a pastor will be in touch.
Coffee and donuts will be available. This will be a family style service, and there will not be any CW Kids classes. We’ll have chairs set up, but we know there will not be enough for everyone, so please bring yard chairs to supplement if you have them!
Join us on Sunday, November 16th on the UNCW Intramural Fields for a fun time of sports (football y futbol) followed by a competitive chili cook off! It is the best time of the year... cool weather... sports... yummy chili... and some healthy competition!
Here's what's different this year:
We are keeping it simple. You - the people - will be the judges! Everyone can enjoy and taste all the chilis, and then vote on their favorite! The chili with the most votes WINS! Some might say that it’s basically a big chili pot luck with a little voting mixed in :)
We just ask that each life group tries to have at least 2-3 chilis to represent their groups so that we can feed the crowd. The church will provide toppings, chips, waters and cookies.

The fields are on the corner of Riegel & Hamilton, adjacent to the Brooks Field Baseball Stadium. You can park along Riegel Rd & in the Visitors Lot (M Lot) on campus.

On October 11th, East Wilmington Community Day will be returning to it's original site at the Michael Jordan Clinic down the street from our church. This event brings many local churches together along with law enforcement with the goal of eradicating violence and building bridges to our community. Volunteers are needed for a variety of activities including: bounce house oversight, kids activities, general help on site, and chatting with community members. Approximately 16 volunteers needed to split shifts from 12-6.
This event offers a great opportunity to connect with our neighbors and share the love of Christ.

Rising 4th and 5th graders, along with Rising Tide graduates who attended last year, are invited to a Messtival Summer Party on August 23rd from 10:30 am - Noon in the Fellowship Hall. There will be messy games with water balloons, slime blasters, and ice water races! Please RSVP here to help us plan and to find out more details.
Additionally, Rising Tide kids will get to throw whipped cream and jello "pies" at either Mr. Shawn OR Ms. Alicia at the Messtival! Students will vote on which Rising Tide leader gets "pie'd" by bringing a Christian kids' book to donate to one of the Little Free Libraries in the Neighborhood. More info here.
We're so excited to launch a new ministry this year under the umbrella of CW Kids! The goal of this program is to provide a one on one buddy to a child with disabilities to attend Sunday School during the 11 o’clock service. We will be having an interest meeting on August 10, 2025 following the 2nd service in the K-1 classroom. If you have questions about the program or are interested in serving, please join us!

Created For Discovery is a weeklong summer camp designed to help children entering kindergarten through 5th grade explore science and nature through hands-on activities while celebrating God's design in creation.
The goal is to not just reach our church and other churched children, but to reach out to our local community as a source of outreach.

FORGE Men’s Ministry will have an open gym time at the Ogen YMCA on Saturday July 12th from 9-11am. We’ve rented the whole gym, so we’ll have pickleball courts, basketball courts, and more for the guys! This is a great opportunity to invite people in your life that you’ve been reaching out to.

Camino de la Cruz (Crossway's Spanish speaking ministry) will be serving up some delicious tacos & sides for donations on June 28th from 3-5pm at Crossway!
